Halo 3 - One Final Effort (piano cover with original song)

Yes. i love Halo.
It´s just awesome. With awesome music! Martin O'Donnell knows how to write epic music that´s for sure :D

Now.. let me explain a bit about this video: i got ahold of this sheet music a couple of days ago and i just had to learn the song. I wanted to post an epic Halo-video for a pretty long time but i never really had proper sheet music.
Ok, so i played the song on the piano but meh, even with putting the strings-voice from my piano... it´s just not quite as epic as it has to be. The awesome percussions are really what gives this song the little extra.

So.. i recorded the piano whilst listening to the original song on my headphone. As you can imagine.. it´s not really easy playing 100% synchrone to a hard song like this, at least without someone standing on the podium conducting xD
But i gave my best... my girlfriend can assure you.. i tried a loooong time to get this take =/
Somewhere near the end you can hear something that might sound a little off, but that´s because the sheet music has like 3 notes that apparently don´t belong there o.o

Well now, if anyone out there is interested in producing a drum-track of the original song, that would be awesome. Or in other words: i could need the original song, just without the piano, because in this attempt, you can still hear the original piano playing sounding through at least on a few parts.

I guess it would be a pain in the ass to produce a percussion/drum-track like in the original mp3. I am not that tech-savvy, but maybe it´s possible to take the original song and like.. filter out the piano? Like muting it? I don´t know, but if someone knows, please contact me!


There´s not much more to say other than i don´t own any of the pictures i added.
Oh and i really really hope you like it, whether you are a Halo-fan or not ^.^

P.S.: THIS SONG IS REEEAALLY HARD TO PLAY!!! (at least if you maintain the speed and rhythm with all the far jumps both hands have to manage ^.^)

You give yourself quite a difficult task there. this song is far from easy. but of course you can give it a go ^.^ sheet music can be found on rampancy dot net. you have to register to access the sheet music section though. (dont worry, it´s free)
