Its such a shame the movie was so terrible.
Its even worse of a shame that we as gamers are constantly lied to by movie directors.
"I'm a fan of the game"
or
"I played through from beginning to end"
Well, if any of that was true, then why did you end up releasing another Resident Evil.
I didn't feel for the character at all.
People always tell me "well they can't make the same story as the game"
Why not?
Fans of the games aren't even half the audience of these movies.

@THENIGHTWATCHMAN08 Yea, basically what RosieSquall said.
Sometimes when you have a dream, there will be a specific character in this dream that when describing your dream to someone you know, you don't leave this character out.
Dream psychologists, and anyone who is using google, will tell you that these characters represent something.
Pyramid Head represents the truth.
James knows he killed his wife, but he is constantly running from it, which is why you don't kill Pyramid Head.

Nice Intro :)

Thank you for the upload, it's great to have a peek in the dev departament.

@lexzeyfercronus What the hell are you talking about? Homecoming is 5 and Downpour is 6. Shattered Memories is not related to original Silent Hill and Origins is just a filler. With your logic we have to count all mobile games too.

"Silence is also a sound" : )

@RosieSquall I'm still on the fence about it because I know a helluva lot of people who are obsessed with that character. And yeah PH was only meant to be in SH2 but due to fan obsession the producers decided that pyramid hear represented like you said punishment for anyone else who entered the town.

@THENIGHTWATCHMAN08 I think it's just because he looks cool... at least that's what people normally say. It's annoying to see how the new games exploit PH just to get more "fans". For me, he should have only appeared in SH2. He's the manifestation of Jame's desire to punish himself, so there's no sense in him being in other stuff whatsoever.
Silent Hill is not just a game its a MASTER Piece.

James follows his irrational hope that Mary is still alive as he descends deeper into the nightmare. The light on the mannequin dressed as Mary is the metaphor that James is blinded by the light of hope.
