I don't know why but while watching this video, my body tenses up awaiting to see if the groundhog takes a bite of her finger.

mine comes in the house and will come by just calling his name he is my buddy I have been feeding him for three years now and every spring he pops his head out from under the garage to say hi to me. He will let you pet him but have never tried to pick him up. He also has a female with his but she is very shy

There was one in my backyard and it didn't even budge when I came close to it! It even let me pick it up, lol! It was a baby though.
