I got an Ion Sound Session Drums on Boxing Day for $129 (plus tax) at Best Buy. I was trying to find any video here in Youtube that would tell me how this sounds like before I buy. But only found a few. For the price, I decided to buy it anyway. Here's my own sound test for those who are curious how this sounds. Fairly decent for the price you pay.
This is the Ion Sound Session Drums IED11 - Compact Electronic Drum Set. I set it up differently by having the two toms together.
Video recorded using Canon S95. Music played from iPod Nano connected to the drum kit. Drum kit connected to Peavey PV6 USB Mixer. Audio recorded with Garage Band. Video edited using iMovie.

Upload more vids! I ordered the same set but BB wouldn't ship to Quebec (the packaging was only in English) so I had to ship it to a relative in Ontario and will only be able to pick it up in a few months =(

is this a good drum set i found one on amazon.com for 151.96 is that a good price im not sure if it is the same set its called ion audio sound session complete electronic drum set if it is plzz write back iv been wanting a drum set so bad and cant get an acoustic cus my parents will think it is to loud so its this set or a first act electric set and its 83.00 if u know some of this plzz tell me right away thx

@Chocolatewastedkids it is the same kit, and I think that's a pretty good price. is it a good drum set? depends on your needs. if you are a beginner, and just trying to make a feel of it, then this is great. if you need to advance later on, you'll need a better kit. check out the reviews on amazon as well and see what others are saying as well. for me, it does what i need. it may still be a bit noisy, with the tapping on rubber sound so not sure if your parents will like that.

Hi sairosairo, I am an absolute novice in drumming and I am planning to purchase this set of drums to learn. Would you recommend it?

@victiny816 - pros: cheap; good sound for the price, includes the headphone and drumsticks. cons: the pedal is sensitive that it sometimes triggers twice - very annoying; with no ride cymbals I find it limiting, sure I can program one pad to be a ride but then I sacrifice a tom. if you just want to try it out, it's really good for the price, but if you're going to be serious about drumming later on, then save your money and buy a more decent kit. Google for other reviews. As for me, I love it.
