Part of us wants Pease and Part of us wants war? When we die, our soul leaves the body. That is called a light Spirit. It wants Pease. The other part of us is a Spirit called a demonic spirit. The Demonic causes people to kill one another. The Demonic spirit is a parasite. People would rather kill one another than face this truth. So for now the wars will continue. But Time is running out for Demonic spirits. The return of ________ is near.

Wars are never justified. They may begin for noble reasons but are never fought that way. To end the second World War the U.S. dropped the a-bomb. This bomb killed over 500,000 civilians. Today we would call that an act of terrorism, but then it was just war. Think about the dropping of the a-bomb. It was so horrible that no country since has dropped one in anger. That is the biggest example of the way it was a war crime.

Thank you so much for this song and video I've long felt alone in my stance as a christian against all war.
I have a couple ideas for christian peace graphics....hoping to get my artist son to help me and post them.
they aren't typical ideas.

Hey wheelsrup do you thinke there were any German Christians in Hitlers Germany or is God just on the American war machines side? And what part of thos shalt not kill don't you understand wheelsrup. Or is that just one of the ten suggestions and not a commandment from God?

wrb167, I'm sure many Christians were ordered to fight in Hitlers Army. Some of them helped hide many jews as did many Christians. Why do you hate America so much? You need to study more about what your stating here. What about the men in Joshua's army at the battle of Jerico. Did they miss understand "thou shall not kill??" After all, God did give them their marching orders....

Ppl like Shane Claiborne is a Christian peacemaker.

Whenever God was about to destroy Sodom and Gemorah, Abraham stood up and begged God to not be wrathful.

Whenever God was about to destroy the Israelites, Moses stood up and begged (Ex 33) and God repented.

Christians should not be joyful about God (possibly) judging the middle east, but should grieve of their suffering. We value the sanctity of life, and so we should be active in stopping the death o the innocent.

This is just my view

But for Christians and war, we should be peacemakers. Peacemakers are not necessarily passivists, but are actively involved in bringing about peace.

I think the Church's response should not be telling ppl to go vote, (or perhaps not signing up for the army), but should support organizations that bring relief to ppl.

we should help negotiate, give food and medicine, etc.
Im sure that we can kill more ppl, but violence is not always the best answer, bc we should protect innocent lives.

I don't know of any other people on the face of this Earth that are more giving, more caring and more generious then the American people. Look at the billions we just gave Africa for AIDS assistance. Look at our Red Cross, our Mercy Corp and on and on. The scriptures also differenciates between individuals and their governments. As an individual, I am a promoter of Peace and any church I have ever attended has taught that. Love your neighbor as yourself. I live by that!

ww2 was one of the most justified wars in history, so i think that the US did the right thing. I do believe in "just war" but just wars are very rare.

If ur not already aware of just war, Augustine came up with it and attached 7 components that make a war just. (google it if u have time).

With this Iraq war, I dont think that it is just. (we went in there bc of WMDs, which is a just reason, but after no WMDs, were still there, and we are still killing and fighting)

I appreciate your view! As far as WMD's, they continue to find them over there. They also know that much of the wmd's were flown out of IRAQ to Serria in gutted commercial airliners prior to the war. It is also understood that the SURGE is working and that perhaps we can start our troop reductions soon. I don't like this war myself. I will be glad when it ends. I will also be glad that America did the right thing, in my opinion of course.
