Another Shugo Tokumaru cover. This one was a little tricky for me. You can clearly tell where I run out of breath in the middle of it.
Translation of Lyrics:
(Shugo's lyrics are based on a dream journal he keeps, so they can be very abstract. This is my own translation. If anyone has a better interpretation, let me know!)
If the clouds part, they reveal a slanted track in the clearing,
rusted and peeling away. I am scooped up from where I stand.
Can you see how far the track leads?
The way ahead is pitch black, even though it's supposed to be morning.
The train still hasn't come, as I stand, waiting on the platform.
My head shatters, and so does the mirror.
Even as I wonder what's going on,
everything around me appears to be a lie.
That's right.
Even if I hide in the shadow of the building,
I'll always be found.
Green rain is falling.
It fell right before my eyes. What was it that fell?
Everything around me is pitch black, and my head is white.
Tomorrow's sigh, a second sigh.
A bride dances atop a crumbled wall.
The train's whistle- Two beams of light
come closer before my eyes.
Those beams of light converge on a magnifying glass,
and I wait for the building's shadow to burn.
That's right.
Even if I hide in the shadow of the building,
it's useless.
And before long...
I search for the place which you drew.
And though I've come this far,
it seems to be a little different
from the place which you saw.
Why that is, I can sort of understand,
and yet I can't.
I've gotten off topic again.
Death,
take me away to hell.
Which is the way to hell?
This world belongs to you,
but let me have just a little bit of it.
I search for the place which you drew.
And though I've come this far,
it seems to be a little different
from the place which you saw.
Why that is, I can sort of understand,
and yet I can't.
I've gotten off topic again.
Tomorrow's sigh, a third sigh.
The way ahead is pitch black, even though it's supposed to be morning.
Green rain falls from blue clouds,
and red feelings turn white.
That's right.
It sure is dark, isn't it?
Even if I hide in the shadow of the building,
it's useless.
Green rain is falling.
The ukelele sounds so nice! This is one of my favorite Shugo songs. I'd love to hear a solo piano arrangement of this (especially the 君の描いた景色探し
こんな遠くまで来たけど part)!

@sicklysickly Thanks!
Talk about piano, I actually really wanted to switch to piano for that middle part like in the original! If I'd had the right video software and knowhow, I'd definitely have done it with both instruments.

so does this mean you can translate the lyrics? :D

I can try! It's hard because his lyrics are based on dreams he had, so they can be really abstract. I'll add a translation in the description.
