What state was this in? I have a very hard time believing this burn was allowed. My department had to completely remove anything toxic including shingles, carpet, aluminum, any metals, plastics, etc just to burn a small house for training. I'd say by the amount of black smoke, not much was removed from that building prior to burning it.

Why was it burned?? Why not just bulldose it?

@MrMattIntel I'm a firefighter in new jersey, and basically because of the materials located in commerical restaurants such as the deep fry oils and such, we're instructed to let it burn and not attempt to put it out, unless there is a legit danger to life (such as someone trapped)

Plus trees purify are air so the smoke would be cleansed eventually
-
Cause burning gets rid of it more then a wrecking ball a wrecking ball would take forever to get rid of all the materials
-
so..... mcdonalds finally decided burn calories!! XD
-
Yeah talk about buring calories!
-
@MrMattIntel Why couldn't they take a wrecking ball to it?
-
Not much of a loss!
