The much anticipated Nets - Heat game from the O2 Arena in east downtown London. I attended the game and filmed some with my camera. It was the most awesome experience to see my two favorite NBA teams play and my two favorite players, Vince Carter and Dwyane Wade. My biggest dream came true. This night is one I will remember for the rest of my life.

  • I live in the western part of Denmark (far away from Copenhagen) and yes I'm a "Danish" citizen.

Lol I agree that the Izod Center stinks. Havn't been there though, but on TV it lookes very old and dark inside even after it's renovation. The atmosphere doesn't seem very electric when the Nets play. The loudest sounds you hear are when Gary Sussman yells "did you see VC?" It would be nice to see more fans come to the games too.

Damn I'm jealous you got to see D-Wade and Carter.

I saw Jordan in 1996-- nothing like it.

  • nicely done

  • i was there it was a truly amazing experiance ...im only 14 and i will prob never see another nba game so :)

  • Actually I do, maybe one a season. All the games are broadcast on TV here. *I feel bad for you, since you only get one game a week and there is about 27 games a week* :(

I hate the Nets arena though, especially at halftime and after the game. Everyone leaves, and you can't move. It takes about an hour before you can finally reach the exit.

What town are you from? Being ignorant, I only know of Copenhagen, sorry. Is it politically correct that people from Denmark are "Danish?"

  • Oh since you live in NY I can understand that you are used to the traffic. I live in a small village with about 200 people, so London felt very caotic to me. But eventhough you've got traffic and a lot of people everywhere over there, you still have the opportunity to go and watch the Nets play:-) Do you attend some of their games?

  • Yea I've been hearing that European and Asian markets are crashing because of the US's downfall.

Haha, I'm from New York City, so I know traffic. We have to deal with 18 million people in only about 45 kilometers!

I have been to London before, and I found it really great and interesting. I tried to go to Paris, but we had so little time.

  • Your economy in the states has actually effected ours as well. As far as seeing Europe, I can tell you that London is great. There are so many beautiful places to watch and people seemed very nice. The only negative: traffic! But definately worth a visit. Berlin, Barlecona and Paris are great as well. I hope to visit the US to watch VC and the Nets again
