Great commentary. To the "Creationists" who believe that there is no proof for evolution, I laugh out loud asking, "what's your evidence, the (revised) word of a group of theologians?"

Someone who thinks that scientists in the United States are "vilified" for disagreeing with political or religious beliefs is quite confused. It is true that biologists who assert that evolution is thoroughly proven in all aspects are not viewed kindly in some circles, but this is more an indication of what happens when arrogance replaces humility.
