Everyone wants to be the best in whatever field, sport, industry, etc they are in. It takes a lot from an athlete to accept this.

Andy Roddick said probably one of the most sportsmanlike compliments a player could say about another player. "The most physically gifted player I've played against, but with that, he's just become so solid mentally. I tell him before, I'd love to hate you but your really nice. You just have to sit back and say too good sometimes". A comment like that shows that Andy just accepted that Roger is just on a different level than him or perhaps just better.

this really shows that roger is really a great guy. i dont understand these people that are obsessed with rafa that a lot of them say he's arrogant and an asshole.

he really isn't he's a great guy. all that hard work, and everything really comes here.
