How to Reinstall Cydia and Blackra1n/Blacksnow Apps back onto iphone 3GS/ Ipod Touch (June 2010)

***This Tutorial does not work if you are on the 3.1.3 firmware or the 05.12.01 baseband. It will only work if you are on 3.1.2 firmware and 05.11.07 baseband or below.***

If you used Blackra1n to initially jailbreak your iphone or Ipod Touch, and no longer have the Blackra1n icon on your device for whatever reason, this will explain how to get your device Jailbroken and get Cydia back on your iphone. It will also show you how to unlock it in order to use it with whatever GSM phone carrier you would like (You only need to unlock it if you haven't already unlocked it previously. If your phone is currently unlocked you will only need to use Redsnow to jailbreak your device and install Cydia on it.)

If you do not currently have Cydia on your device then you will not be able to ssh into it. After doing a lot of research, this is the only way I know of to get Cydia back on the device without performing a "Restore", which Apple won't let you do with any firmware prior to 3.1.3.

Even if they do you can download them again for free. Once you login to your cydia account it will recognize any application you bought and let you download them again for free. Best wishes.

if you are jailbroken with blackra1n and then do the redsnow process will all your jailbroken apps that you got from blackra1n go away

if you don't know or you don't know how to open settings and find out then you shouldn't even be thinking of Jailbreaking
