@paulkev09 I wrote that and decided to look it up for myself since some of the animation looked off and the backgrounds are static.... according to the capcom wiki and game informer they did screen capture of the 3d models to mkae sprites.
and i am going to tell you that the iphone's 2d rendering capabilities are amazing.
capcom can't surely make a full 3d port of sf4 on the iphone that's why they sticked in converting character's models into 2d graphics or the so called "sprites".
but still, that does not stop me to be amazed in capcom's great job in converting the original 3d models into 2d sprites. the reason why they move smooth because there are so many frames in the game
sf4 on iphone is made under a closed-source software, of course meaning that the technical information about that game is only known by its developers.
anyway, why are you asking that?
you're no developer, are you? maybe you are one of those pirates who wants to leak it over the internet. youtube is no place in telling something about a closed-source software. apple's framework is proprietary therefore it is closed-source.
@Cookalookas actually I just looked it up, he is right, they are sprites made from the arcade's 3d models....... wow, those are some really good sprites.
@paulkev09 I would NEVER hire you for a single job then. Those are 3-d models on the screen, and if you are about to say that those are truly just 2-dimensional images being rendered on-screen you obviously don't know how to do anything. Tell me Mr. Programmer, can you please tell me the software used to render 3-dimensional material on the iphone? (Without using google)
bet this version of the game eats the battery
