http://www.nevadamusic.co.uk/Effects-Pedals-and-Processors/Guitar-Effects/Mul... Line 6's FBV Shortboard MkII isn't your average foot controller. It's a full-on remote control that keeps you at the foot of the stage instead of tied to the front of your Line 6 Spider amp or POD. Right out of the box, the FBV Shortboard MkII delivers plug-n-play connectivity. Stomp the 13 steel footswitches to quickly scroll and select channel presets, synchronize your time-based effects with Tap Tempo, activate effects, the chromatic tuner, and more.

When paired with Spider IV guitar amplifiers, the footswitches can activate many on-board amp effects including Quick Loop, Pitch Glide and Smart Harmony, and provide up to 128 user-created presets. The burly, full-sized volume/wah pedal feels solid under your foot and features plenty of grip. Clicking the toe-switch toggles between volume and wah control (with an illuminated LED to match). Oversized and backlit, the FBV Shortboard's LCD is big, bright and easy to read. It displays the active preset name and number, and the chromatic tuner (when activated).

  • @mickdasic The way I see it, owning a Spider IV 75+ or SV MKII without one of those foot controllers is like owning an airplane without wings. Even if you're set on continuing to use your Boss multi-effects pedal, I'd suggest at least getting the FBV Express. You're gonna want to access your presets that way instead of going up to the amp and turning the presets knob. Besides, this way you'll be able to update the firmware of the amp.

  • @twaggislynger123 If this is a problem u can also get the EX-1 from line six and use it for volume and use the expression on the short board for wah or vice versa depending on how u set them up

  • I have a shortboard MkII but when you switch between sounds there is a small volume cut. How can you change that? Because it's very ennoying

  • Can you use this on any Line 6 amp?

  • this should work with my Line 6 Valve MKII 212 Combo Amp right?

  • can u only use this on line 6 amps

  • ehh do i have to press the pedal all the way down to get the wah effect, because if i have my amp at VERY high volume, then the pedal will turn the volume all the way up :(

  • Does this have a WAH???

  • I have a Line 6 Pod 2.0 with the FBV jack. Will all the functions of the pedal work with my POD, do any of the features of the pedal not work?

  • will this work with the Spider III?

  • Would this work with my Line 6 POD?
