@MegamiTsubasa I know the feeling, I've had BassGuitar for three years and a Classical nylon stringed guitar for ten years and I still cant play one song!! I know some chords and can pick, play and fiddle with it and sometimes I get lucky and it even sounds okay but that's it. I try to find time to practice, when I do the wife is home and she just nags about the "noise" I make. I dream of the day I can play well enough for it to be a joy to listen too, as well as play!!

@epicfantasy It's probably one of the theese three things, the wrong string, an octave off or something wrong with the guitar, have it checked out a pro and he'll tell you in a heartbeat!!

does it need to have a tuning fork to tune a classical guitar?
2-11-11, Will do you have something wrong with your teeth, you are very hard to understand, you talk too fast - don't say "ya I know" slow down. Your trying to teach newbe's, who don't need to be confused anymore. OK?

I need some help with tuning my E string!!! Yesterday I opened my guitar case after not having played for a couple of years. I tried to tune the guitar, but I could not get the high note in the E-string. It kept on sounding like the second string. SoI tightened the string more to get a higher note, but It snapped! So I went to the store to buy new strings. Again the same case. How do I get the high note in my E-string??? I hope someone can help me...

@hebikniet123 Seems odd, Either you are missing the high pitched e by an octave or something needs looking at on the guitar.
