Actually, it's real.
The Giratina pic is a snapshot of the Pokemon Platinum Beta, and I believe that the Sky Forme is probably a wi-fi battle on that same beta too.

It's just transforming into simple "Defeat the other trainer!" into "Stop Dialga from destroying Time!" If you ask me, it's gotten a LOT better... One of the coolest Pokémon ever is still Nidoking, though.
