I'm 32 and own an SL500. What can I say. Simply the best vehicle I've ever driven and had the privilege to own. It's like owning 3 cars. Roof on and windows up you've got a German Luxury Car. Roof on and windows down you've got a coupe' and with the top down you've got the most sexy convertible every made that handle like no other. My last car was an S class and this is quite the same in manners of luxury but boy oh boy is it fun to drive! Everyday still seems like an absolute pleasure to drive.

well its not about that u need attention,,but if u drive and see that ppl really stare at u,,its not bad...i also have an SL and ppl look ...i never need attention but what can u do? the car is beautiful :P hehe

It's a pity that the 2008 SL isn't changed at all...same interiors, same back...only the frontal is different...but I prefer the previous SL 2001...more than the restyling because I don't like the white stripe in the backlights (even if the engine is better)

I'm not jealous. It just seems you haven't been doing something about the attention your getting if u didn't want such as get a better car with better mpg or a car that's actually for the city streets

i have a 2004 sl500, man let me tell you before i had a 2000 s500, i have never gotten so much stares and atention in my life, it is sometimes overwhelming, i am only 34 years old, but i enjoy it to the fullest.
