What a fantastic piece of footage, thank you so much for posting it! I worked for Alex Munro in 1974 during the evenings and school holidays – the girl operating the lime light may well be me! The show was brilliantly corny but he packed the visitors into the Pier Pavilion. I remember Stanley playing the organ [you hear his name mentioned right at the start of the film] and Alex’s final turn, every night, was his Chelsea Pensioner routine.
I think the man speaking on the video will be Alex Munro ?? I can remember when there was apropert theatre on the pier,we used to go to pantomines there. The amuzments were called "The Golden Goose" back then, as was the amusment arcade on Colwyn Bay Pier....Happy Memories....thanks for posting the video.

I always like walking along the pier. I didnt know it was a concert hall before it is a amusement arcade.
