Chances are you may not have heard of Herman Dune (in that case, this is THE definitive cover version of this great song!) and neither had I!
Until I was introduced to his music through the genius of Adelle The Great ( http://www.youtube.com/user/adellethegreat )
...and her inspiring Blog ( http://adellethegreat.blogspot.com/ or an explanation video here... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVgD5sxBeXg) but enough love out to her!!
The video to accompany Hermans song is amazing! Took me days thinking of how he did it! (It's here by the way... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRNo-53KvEk) Do check it out...
As for my version...well listen out for the missed chord...messed up trumpet solo..and generally fuelled by red wine recording!! Played on my rarely emerging 6 string Ashbury tenor. Not a bad instrument, but not the easiest to play either.
Dedicated to Adelle and her Blog - for introducing us all to weird and wonderful music that we would never have got exposed to.
Thanks Adelle!
@ohiodeerhunter21 That's a really nice thing to say, cheers very much! Herman Dune songs have great lyrics and wonderful rhyming strings - do check him out!

You nailed it, man. I think you had mentioned being concerned about the phrasing- I don't know why cause you got it down! And that fan strum- perfect. "Now listen..." ah love it. You got it. If it wasn't 9 in the morning I'd toast your wine.

@ukejon I weren't entirely sure whether it helped, or hindered!? But thanks for your comment!
