In 1985, Michael Deaver, the Deputy Chief of Staff for the Reagan White House, resigned under a cloud of investigation over his lobbying activities. Afterwards, it was revealed that he spoke with Reagan about appointing a special envoy to Canada regarding acid rain. After his resignation, he became a lobbyist for Canada, leading to an investigation over charges of lying to a Federal Grand Jury. Mark Russell came up with this song especially for this scandal.

  • I LOVE CHARTS!

  • I don't believe Michael Deaver is influence peddling now. He might actually be having a cup of coffee with his old boss.
