I have tried touhou 7 extra on lunatic and i still say that the 1pxl hitbox gives you an advantage.
The moment you start focusing on where your hitbox is, and pay attention to only the things around your ship. Then hold in the fire button, It makes it really easy.

@CJTheInvader Yeah, yeah. Please, next time try for example Touhou 7 extra on Lunatic before saying that 1px hitbox gives you THE advantage and it's easy to dodge.

Your hitbox is litterally one pixel wide. So its really really easy to dodge.
