Quite odd that the plane didn't have enough fuel to make it to Singapore, if you consider that Singapore is only 40 minutes away from Kuala Lumpur by plane

@apx24 it probably did but the margin probably wasnt enough to risk being delayed andhaving to declare a full emergancy and have the problems that brings rather than land safely and add a bit of fuel and maybe takeoff again to singapore or fill the tanks and fly direct to melbourne
