these HMD's are cool....but dear god can they give you a headache and nechache...30 minutes and your head and neck are screaming!! i had to nail a string to the ceiling and then tape it to the unit to take some of the weight off .trust me an hour in one and you wont want to wear it again.

Still got my Philips Scuba..though it looks great outside...the resolution sucked donkey balls!!! OMG! was it shitty,,like watching Legos dance around...think i might try to upgrade the LCD's both in Size and Res...lots of 1280x1024 panels around 2 " floating around out there...hell a good cellphone panel might do it.

@homecockpitguy - This is on ebay right now, and i would love to have a good HMD again. I remember liking the Philips Scuba back in the day, but absolutely hating the resolution of it.
Would you say this head mounted display has better resolution than the philips scuba?

Yeah thus far only extremely expensive Industrial level HMD are equiped with advance optics for wider FOV and higher resolution. the good news is OLED can change everything. those super highrez displays used in this format would enable true 180' panoramic visor dispays for the prosumer market.
