Poor Keanu, eight years of musical training at Julliard and he gets stuck with a monotonistic SPEAKING role. Better than Michael Bolton singing the part,I guess.

In the original the alien wasnt an almighty badass, he was pretty much a human from another planet, I just watched the original last night and he is shot ONCE and falls to the gorund like a human. Keanu coming to earth in this one and kicking everythings ass is a twisted message of the original, in said original he has the same skeletal, nervous and everything a human has. The only rhing diffrent was that he was 75 and from mars or venus. NOT a badass that cripples everyone in a hospital.

The utter pointlessness of this movie & NOT holding who's responsible for the Earth's destruction, which is not the citizen's & never will be, is completely missed & avoided. Your "new review video" of this garbage should be titled "Kenneth Turan Reviews The Day the Earth Stood Still, STOP AT THE TRAILER(s) & yes we survive". BOYCOTTING EVERYTHING SHOULD BE THE NEXT FAD!!!!
