you act like congressional approval has always happened throughout history outside of iraq... but that's not quite true. there have been over 125 instances where congressional approval hasn't been used for war - including korea and nicargua. are you surprised to learn that congressional approval is not needed in order for a president to declare war?

Actually, we aren't "at war" with Iraq. It's been a "police action" since we toppled the regime after the initial 2 week war. Do you understand the differance between "war" and "policing against insurgants?"

I hope McBush doesn't become President. We already have a shitty economy. The generals in Afghanistan have already said they are underfunded, and need more troops. While the violence in Afghanistan rises... we know McCain will push to go into Iran. Then we will be in 3 wars Afghanistan, Iraq, and Iran. Our troops who are already on their 4 and 5 tours, that are committing suicide at a higher rate, now we're supposed to send them into another war?! Let alone our economy can't handle it!!!
