Some of the difficulties of playing with a a sequenced track range from keeping locked with the track, being able to do runs that allow the drummer to come back on the 1 (one), and not allowing the track to force the drummer to lay back too much.
It is important to have a good mix of the track in your monitor so that you can always hear the track and not lose a consistent lock with the track. If you decide to play slightly behind or in front of the beat of the track, you should make sure that you are consistent with this approach.
If you choose to add flavor by doing an interesting run, make sure that it is done in such a way as to fit with with track. It's okay to experiment and play runs that sound crazy while you're practicing because you might hear something that might sound great and you can duplicate it later. This takes me to my next point, which involves you recording your rehearsals and listening to it later. You should sit down and critique your playing with other musicians and let them point out things that don't sound great. Don't let people puff you up like you're the most awesome musician in the world but take constructive criticism, which will push you to being a better musician.
Very clean. Great stuff mate!
