This is my first time in Death Valley during the month of March, I now know why its one of the best times to visit the park. The desert bloom was still viewable and the weather was perfect with highs in the 70s.
A total of 6 riders set out for the weekend, four with street bikes and two with dual sport. We covered some 900 miles during the 3 day ride visiting Rhyolite, Uhebehe Crater, Scottys Castle, Furnace Creek, and Zabriskie Point. We usually try to make this ride twice yearly; next DV ride, the fall.
Most Excellent!
