Will Europe Ban Cell Phones for "Under-age" Use?
The Vienna Medical Association is demanding the removal of zero tariffs and the banning of mobile phone advertising targeting children and adolescents. Says Erik Huber, environment advisor for the association: "Children under the age of 16 should never use a mobile phone."
Many scientists and government agencies in Europe have already accepted that EMF from cell phones does pose health risks, reflected in Huber's statement, "Scientists do not argue anymore whether mobile phones are harmful, but how harmful they are."
The best way to protect yourself would be to simply not use a cell phone and revert back to a corded phone. At the very least I would urge you to not let your kids use them or severely limit their use. Their developing nervous systems and thinner skulls are simply too vulnerable to cell phone damage.

If you choose to keep your cell phone, make sure you use a non-Blue Tooth headset. Also remember, even when you're not using your phone, keep it as far away from your body as possible. Do not keep it on your belt or in your pocket as the radiation WILL penetrate your body wherever the phone is attached. According to a scientific study published in Fertility and Sterility in May 2007, statistically significant changes were found in men's sperm count and health of the sperm, based on cell phone use.
Their conclusion? "Use of cell phones decreases the semen quality in men by decreasing the sperm count, motility, viability and normal morphology. The decrease in sperm parameters was dependent on the duration of daily exposure to cell phones, and independent of the initial semen quality."
So, make sure you stow your cell phone in a bag, briefcase, or your car's glove compartment.

  • You car radio is embedded in the dashboard,

your cell phone is attached to your body...

  • I'm glad to see it when people who know what they are talking about voice their opinions. I hate it when people try and spread fear.

  • @orange92865 The problem with the cell phone debate, especially in the light of recent reports, is that SCAM artists hop on the bandwagon and feel free to sell whatever crazy device they can.

Eventually the public wises up but not before a great deal of money has been fleeced from the public who are rightly concerned that there might be something to consider.

  • @MrSpinneyhorse I experienced the "so called" phantom text phenomenon only to find I wasn't actually carrying my phone in my jacket pocket but a box of Altoids!

  • Electro-Sensitivity (ES)

Electro-sensitive people suffer from a variety of symptoms in close vicinity to electromagnetic fields, Wi-fi, mobiles, DECT phones, baby monitors, certain light sources etc: Headaches, Speech problems, dizziness, chest palpations, tinnitus, pressure in the ears. sweating at night. skin irritations, pins and needles in the hands in the mornings, short-term memory loss, nauseas, joint aches and pressures at the back of the head as well as in the sinus or forehead area.

  • Even if you are not ES yet, it is beneficial to turn off your Wifi over night, as well as to ban electrical items, your cordless phones and mobiles from your bedroom. You will sleep much better and are less likely to have an interrupted sleep pattern. Usually waking around 4 am.

  • Another simple test is to stop carrying your mobile on your body (chest or trouser pockets). in many cases people experience the so-called “phantom text messages”. This describes a situation where every now and then you think you had a text message, when keeping the phone in your pockets, but when you checked there was no message. Some even suffer from heart palpitations. If that is case, just try for a while to carry your mobile in a bag or switch it off, while you have it in your pocket

  • Plenty of real research out there since the 1950's on the dangers of electromagnetic waves. AC feilds are not good for our bodies and neither is microwave radiation which cellphones use. Microwave radiation at 2450 MHz is non-ionizing, and in sufficient intensity will simply cause the molecules in matter to vibrate, thereby causing friction, which produces the heat that cooks the food. Direct Current or pulsed DC power would be better in your household.

  • The most danger in a phone comes from the battery, and it's barely any, there's no need of worrying about the radio signal.... it's not going to affect you unless you have it directly on your head for several hours a day every single day using it. in a few words, this is bs.

  • Thanks for the video. So what to do if there is incoming phone calls while we were in the car? Do we not have to answer it or use hands-free facilities (such as Bluetooth, wireless, etc).
