My two cents on TV. Thanks to Freeplay Music for the song.

  • I love Greatest American Hero. I hear Billy Katt will be in the new season of Heroes. I also love the HULK TV series. It was very popular here in the Philippines back in the 70's. The show had such a great take on the Hulk character that it greatly influenced the new Hulk movie.

  • I just watched the new Hulk movie, and I know what you mean! I loved it.

  • Good point Dianna!! If we're bringning back old shows I have one that MUST be included. People will probably give me a TON of grief over this one! I have season 1 and 2 on DVD!!

Here it is....HART TO HART!!!! cheesy but GOOD!! :) hahahaha

  • I thought you were going to say Sledgehammer!

They'd definitely have to bring that one back.

BTW, I read your essay and it rocked!!!

  • I watch too much TV as it is, you're right, it is a 'time-sucker' this is my word for the day now, thanx for that, and I loved Buck Rogers! I don't know how you guys went for a year and a half with no TV, heck on our camping trip I was going through withdrawls!

  • Hi, Dean,

That is so funny!! I felt the same way when we first got rid of cable. :)

  • I think crazy arc so called smart tv is killing itself. I'm sorry, but I hated the new BSG. Well not hated. I thought season 1 and 2 were okay, but not as good as the original even though it was cheesy. I love tv shows with an arc, but can we please tone it down. Blake's 7, Space 1999, Babylon 5, and many other shows that did have arcs new how to do them without causing mental exhaustion.

  • Had RTV, RTN whatever they call themselves in Austin w/o the cable now we don't it sucks. Got to watch Adam 12, Emergency, Dragnet, Voyages, Battlestar Galactica (the original). When the men were heroes and the women heroines without the idea that they have look like freaking kids

  • I totally agree with ya on that Dianna! I hardly watch T.V. anymore too! The Hulk was one of my favorites, it was right after Linda Carter as Wonder Woman! How could ya beat a line up like that! Wow, those shows were fun! Keep smiling! Later, Pops

  • Hi, bowlingballout,

I loved the Honey Mooners! That was an awesome show. I'm in total agreement about how great DVDs are and a big bonus of them is the lack of commercials! Thanks for watching.
