The New York Working Families Party uses the power of cross-endorsement (a.k.a. fusion voting) to both collaborate with the Democrats and the Republicans and to maintain an independent platform from which to demand social change and political reform. We're fighting to repeal the Massachusetts ban against cross-endorsement so that citizens can build similar political vehicles here in the Bay State. With a system of cross-endorsement in place, Mass. voters will then have more choices so that they can really vote their values, at the same time having the power of a ballot line with which to hold politicians accountable on their issues.
