LED brake light speed

Comparing the speed that (the high-mounted) LEDs come up to full brightness relative to the standard incandescents of the lower rear lights. My seven year old daughter is in there activating the brakes for me.

@mgbracing - It has hard enough to retrofit one housing properly. The answer is in designing a housing for LEDs in the first place. Retrofits will never be ideal.

Only issue is that it will not be DOT approved, of course. Which means it is illegal. Better and safer, but illegal.

yea I know the High-mounted light is LED but i thought you were referring to your tail lights  sorry for the miss understanding

thats ok it looks like its worth it and it will just add to the illegal things already on my car. exhaust, stereo system, tint, HIDs, blue LED interior lights, you get the picture lol

You can be the first to say it, and the first to be wrong. The high-mounted light is LED. I'm comparing its speed to the incandescents at the back. I know the high-mounted unit is LED because I built it.
