in a series of musical portraits of young Jazz musicians from 1996, Jonathan Herman made this videoclip of bass player Tony Overwater. Overwater's name, affection with the sea, harbours and boats combined with his love for filmmaker Joris Ivens cumulated into this beautiful minature portrait.
