@uutdordt26,Usually when I go Aboard from Heathrow, I usually board the Aircraft through the Jetway, when I arrive that my destination I then have to exit the aircraft from stairs.

what does the "H" in ER stand for?

@phatcarz It's part of the customer designation used by Boeing. Each airline has it's own code that is added to the type of aircraft. For Emirates it's 1H. You can check airlinecodes.co.uk for the complete list of Boeing Customers Codes.

nice video... why your walking??

@astoniz The weather on that day was very bad so the plane had to divert to Birmingham and eventually landed at Heathrow at around 6:30PM which was 5 hours later then scheduled. As most of the diverted planes arrived at that time, it was parked on a stand. So no airbridge available there.

@uutdordt26, I would hate it to board a aircraft from a parking stand, it just ruins the experience.

@zeesham13 I think it is the opposite of that :P because now you can see the size of this big thing you are flying in, but when you're boarding via a gate it is just like walking into a hallway which ends in another hallway with seats. Boarding via the air stair gives me a extra exciting feeling, standing next to the plane but I can understand your opinion.
