Laura & I went to Las Vegas and rented a HD Road Glide for the day. We drove the Red Rock Canyon and Lakeshore Road around Lake Mead. It was a usual dry day with a little smoke around Las Vegas from the CA fires. Laura held the camera while riding so the video clips are a little shaky.

Did a ride almost exactly like this with my wife back in March 2010. Picked up a Street Glide from Eagle Riders and rode to Hoover Dam, Lakeshore to Overton, then back through Valley Of Fire and into Vegas. We didn't take any video (pics only) but your video might as well be ours. Glad I found it!

Looks like a nice ride. I was planning to do the same thing the end of this month, What routes dod you take and how long did it take you? Oh and how did you like the Road Glide. I'm gonna buy one soon and figured I would take one out for a day or two furst.

I drove east towards Lake Mead on Hwys (93, 564, 167 & 147).
The Road Glide was just okay. Further east on 167 where the road was aged and bumpy, my wife was in tears. The ride was awful but it was due to the air suspension being on "0" and it should have had been around 20-30 PSI for our liking. It was an oversight when I picked up the bike.
If the suspen was set right I'm sure it would have been more enjoyable. I had the bike for 24 hrs.

Hi, I'll be in Las Vegas on 1st September and I'd like to rent a HD as you. How much is the price just for a day? Could you tell me where you rented your bike (which zone of Las Vegas)? Thanks in advance, greetings from Italy

I went to Eagle Riders. I forget the daily rate but it is all published on their website and there are many bikes to choose from. Then there are extra insurance costs. It was worth it for me ... like $160 for 24 hrs.
