@willowdotcom Well said, my friend. I'm not sure what 'the original' would mean anyway, when it's a trad tune, as far as I know - not even the Seeger version. That's a great treatment, BTW: nice laid-back vocal delivery and banjo work. You might like our Anglo take on it if you search for 'Dunlin Erie Canal'

You guys did a great rendition of this folk song. I am going to post my solo rendition of it in a few days. I play the guitar with my Yamaha PSR S900 keyboard providing background. I don't have time to join a real band so I rely upon keyboards to give me a full orchestration.
