  • I practice atheism every day, it's called thinking for myself.

  • Hitchens is so good because he has one big fuck off weapon on his side, the truth.

  • What the hell is with the dislikes? Should this even have 1?

  • muslims have no place in western culture.

  • IT WAS GEORGE DUBYA!

  • @LazyIrish829 When he wrote in "Arguably" that Jewish people could only have sexual intercourse between a white sheet with a hole, that was wrong.

It's a minor mistake but a mistake all the same.

  • @mariomoncole103 I totally agree. The drug laws of this nation are directly tied to racism and oppression (opium made illegal to persecute Chinese immigrants; marijuana to persecute blacks, then hippies; psychedelics to persecute hippies and activists; cocaine was initially banned for real heath reasons, then used to persecute inner-city blacks and Hispanics in the 80s). This is now common knowledge and is taught in most "drugs & society" university courses.

  • @folkhippy Interesting. Of all the things you could put in your body, alcohol and cigarettes would probably give you the best chance of death or shortened life. Most drugs (cocaine even), if taken in responsible doses, get you high, from which you can come back down and act and live normally.

It's funny how the worst things for you are always legalized. Thanks for the information.

  • @mariomoncole103 Hitchens has made a number of negative statements about drugs and drug use. As a young Socialist radical, his group taught its members that recreational drug use was a liability to their cause. In the late 60s, many governments enacted criminal drug laws in order to suppress political activists. If they couldn't arrest them for their speech, governments sought other ways of putting these trouble-makers behind bars. They'd bust them for pot; problem solved. Hitch stuck to booze.

  • Hitch is a little aggressive in this video. I always wondered if he did drugs, cocaine specifically.

  • Actually if Hitchens is happy to grant religious people the right to practice their faith in their own private life then how can they demand more? That sounds fair enough to me.

  • 0.14 to 0.33... MBA! MBA! MBA! MBA!
