This is in San Diego onboard the USS Constellation. Hank was the headliner and also had Waylon, Earl Thomas Conelly and some lady named Gus something or nother. I got the VHS tape of it. It's named "A Star Spangled Party." Like around 1983 or so. Hank also played the piano in Jerry Lee style on "Gonna Go Hunting Tonight."

I saw video of an old, Ralf Emory show. Hank and Waylon are on there, and they have a conversation about how Hank learned how to play the Banjo in his early teens as they were touring. Ralf was with him at the time and he recalled how he wished Hank would hurry up and learn how to play that thing, because he was playing it everywhere. Hank said Waylon could play one too, but Waylon said he only banged on it, but that Hank could really play it. Well--now we know Waylon wasn't kiddin'.
