Field Coil Lowther Speaker

A field coil driver uses a dedicated power supply to feed its field coil to produce the strong magnetic field that makes the diaphragm react to the incoming electrical signals and reproduce sound, the stronger the magnetic field the more efficient the driver would be and the higher and lower frequencies it will respond up to the diaphragm physical and acoustical limits of course.

Field Coil Magnet and Tube Power Supply are design for Lowther speaker.

With a field coil magnet system the driver is c much more accurately than with a permanent magnet and reduce distortion.

There is a harmonic richness tone, extraordinary dynamics, open and natural.

Power Supply are use high current low voltage , they are 85VDC and 125MA respectively.

This power supply is for the Lowther ? But this vaccum rectfier do not can send 2.2A for the speaker !
