@sweetheartand At the time, Eddie had turned heel, because he became obssesed with gaining a victory over Rey, failing at Wrestlemania 21, Judgement Day, and The Great American Bash. Eddie then reaveled that he was the "biological father" to Dominic. Eddie issued a challenge to Rey - a Ladder Match for the custody of Dominic. And well, this happened. (SPOILER) Eddie eventually beat Rey in a Steel Cage match a week or two later on SmackDown!
