  • freedom is never free. sadly, most in western europe have already forgotten and are virullently anti-american.

  • Unfortunately it is true! But not all people!

  • Bellissimo video.

  • Grazie!

  • Unfair comment, WAPAISHONE; Western Europe, especially France, can never pay America back for what she finally did in WWII and we know it; that doesn't deprive us of the right to sometimes disagree with some decisions taken by some of your leaders today. That is not being "anti-American", only a true friend will try and tell you you're about to make a big mistake. Don't get confused.

  • @levoltaire I totally agree :) and I'm an American who facepalms over many of the views Europeans take! I still think we are all friends!

  • i have seen this cementery and the garden is absolutly perfect ....

  • Music?

  • Look, whatever people say about Americans and Allies i accept, but please stop hating the civilians and brave soldiers of the Third Reich, they fought for what they believed in. The vicotry was near for The Third Reich but their leader failed, thats why the Allies won the war. I don't say all German soldiers were good. But most of them were prety good. The leaders are the bad asses in the war. Rommel for example was a man of honour and fulfilled hs duty but it doesn't mean he was a criminal

  • Bless you for this video ..my grandfather died on that beach and is lying somewhere in that memorial. I never knew him ...but grew up with stories of what a brave and wonderful man he was..this video made me feel a little closer to him.

  • Fuck France. Ungrateful little shits.

  • Thank you...for posting this. I am now stationed in Italy and its true...just about everyone has forgotten here in Europe...sadly pisses me off.

  • The beauty of the grounds where so many 'rest', is in such contrast to what they experienced in the last moments of their lives. So many, so young, so determined and devoted - gone in the moment of their loss. Thank you for this view of their resting place, and remembrance of what they did for us.

  • With allies like france and belgium who needs enemies?
