Today someone told me I need to start caring about others opinion of me. I smiled and lying told her I do care, she then gave me a look as if Ive offended her. Caring what other people think of me is something I'll have to force myself to do. It's hard to start caring - - when in your heart you really do not care.
I'll try.

I don't understand how I can be happy if it's never done and there's always going to be contrast

I find it easy to follow her words.

I find the speaker extremely tough to follow. Some of her ideas are incomplete and actually sound non-sensical, to me. Miss when you speak as if you care to be heared, try to speak in a manner that will allow a listener to familiarize himself with the points at hand, otherwise it gets lost in your wordiness. I don't think you need to try and sound intellIgent to BE INTELLIGENT. You just need to learn how to articulate your ideas from your head to your mouth so that they can be understood.
Yesterday, one of my brothers staged a family protest against my current views for my own life, re: Abraham. Calling me "brainwashed" and "gullible" and "concerned" about my mental health... "don't drink the koolaid" was the title of his email to the family. So of course I went to Abraham for advice and this dear segment is one of the things that turned up. I have a fantastic family, btw... including this brother who I know is doing this out of "love" for me.

Last night I almost started to beat myself up because I hadn't accomplished what I set out to do during the day. Then I said, "Whoa! My Inner Being thinks I did great, and it's never done anyway." What a sense of relief, and I realized that actually I had done very well yesterday.
I cannot thank Abraham enough for sharing their knowledge of the broader perspective. Thank you, goodnewsteam, for bringing it to us in this forum :)
