Q: Does it hurt to get your braces on?
A: It doen't hurt to get them on. But for the first week your teeth feel weird and it hurts to eat almost anything hard. I had apple sauce and yogurt when I got mine on for the first week.

Q:Does it hurt to get your braces off?
A: Your like looking up and thinking about how preety your smile is going to be and how you cant wait that you barely feel any pain. It might hurt a little on the more sensitive teeth.

Tips:
1. Dont eat anything hard write after you get your braces tightened.
2. If they give you rubber bands to where, where them. If you don't they will increse how long you have to have your braces.
3. Dont tell anyone your getting your braces off, its fun!
4. Dont eat pop corn because peices might get stuck in the gums and possibly cause infection.

Please don't ask me to make a video about my retainer or showing my teeth.

How long did you have your braces on? I have been going on a year of having them and just got them tightened a few hours ago. I'm hoping it's sometime soon cause your right it is a huge pain having all this scrap iron in your mouth! Were you in any pain when you had them taken off and did you have to get your teeth whiten afterwords?

@alexskittycat I had my braces on for about 2 years and 3 monthes, and they will tell you when you are close to getting them off. Ive noticed people seem to have the power chain instead of single rubber bands and sometimes the rubberbands that connect your lower and upper mouth. Ask your dentist and see what he says. And it hurt a little when they were pulling the bracets off and no I didnt have to get my teeth whitened because I made sure to brush my teeth a lot
