personally, i prefer the WUDC format of debating. but then again, i've never debated in this way, so there might be something hugely awesome about vomitting a million words a second...

@biagiotti2006 They debate like this for themselves. We know we aren't real policymakers, but we are essentially playing a game. Its just an extensive, in depth mental sport.
Also, saying that this type of debate doesn't occur in courts/politics, therefore is "fucking retarded," would be like saying battleship isn't anything like real naval warfare, therefore is "fucking retarded" so no one should ever play battleship and waste their time doing so.
