Can the frequency be raised to reduce the size of the toroid? I ask because I am trying to build a battery charger that goes up to 220 volt dc so my general schematic will be a 110 going into a bridge rectifier then an IGBT modulating the duty cycle but I need to go higher than 110 so how do I wire a toroid to give me a 1:2 ratio with a current of up to 25 amps?

I use to spend hours , sometimes have to work days for those coils , now i have no money but i will build one of those machines for myself :)
