  • @UmbrellaAl you actually have a point to a certain extent. Everything said in this clip is vague and idealic with no real hope "in" anything being articulated. Although I don't think it's any big secret where or in whom Switchfoot finds their hope. Switchfoot themselves offer no hope, they can only point to the one in which we hope. Jesus is our hope...seek him and you'll find yours too. peace.

  • Really not trying to start a YT debate by any means, it's not my style, but I just felt inclined to say that just because you don't understand/agree with what he's saying doesn't mean it lacks substance. For example, I don't agree with what you just said, but I'm not going to write you off right away because maybe you have actual reasons for believing what you do, but you've failed to articulate them. At least he made his point, ...not to mention that he writes entire albums on the subject.

  • Does the English language have a word that describes the opposite of blasphemy?

  • This was pretty deep. I loved it when jon said something like it wouldnt be a trajedy if there was no hope. The way he explains things is so beautiful--although sometimes confusing the first time:) IDk why they dont say "GOd" right out in this interview but I know they talk about GOd during their concerts:) I wouldnt judge them tho cuz perhaps its their Divine calling to go out into the world and draw ppl to Christ in this certain way. Amy Grant did it:)

  • @titmousetalks be patient! He probably wants to teach you something!

  • @titmousetalks haha i remember wen i was little and i didnt know how to talk to God. its not just about "reading" the Bible its about connecting with Him and telling Him how you feel. Just leave your heart open and He WILL talk to you :)

  • @prophesize They look similar but their personalities are totally different!

  • @titmousetalks He speaks when your heart want hear...

  • I pray and read my bible every day and Jesus doesn't speak to me

  • Is it just me, or is the guy from Switchfoot sorta like Kurt Cobain's opposite?

  • I was at the concert they showed at the beginning of the interview!
