Had to hear it again. A blockbuster of emotion and, just the best dancin'-kissin' music. I miss the music of Wade Flemmons.

This song has been in the back of my head...must have heard it when i was very young, possibly 9 or 10 years old when my Mom had the kitchen radio on. I have no idea of how else I may have heard this...awesome!

One of the truely great records of all time not to be recognized as such.If I ever get around to putting together my top 100 or so, "Here I Stand" will be in there somewhere. Thanks.

Vee-Jay records made 78's(all with the brown and silver label(similar to the 45's of that time), until they had changed over the label design on their 45's and LP's to a black one with the rainbow border in late(Fall of) 1960, when they had released "He Will Break Your Heart" by Jerry Butler when he first left the Impressions and went solo.

Love me in the back seat...hot drippin' soul, rock me baby, just wonderful, orgasmic.

I've always loved this song. First heard it on WOBS in Jacksonville Fl when I was in high school. Sounds like an much older man than 18.
