First Shot Friday 07-16-2010

Welcome to Cottonwood's Adventures - The contest as I called it was to put a ketsup package into a water bottle suspended by a string midway. Hang the bottle from a minum of 12" of string, and sit on your butt at 10 yards using traditional bows only. I did not inlude my shooting for todays FSF Match since I called the event for our FSF on the Texas Bowhunter - Traditional Archery Forum. These are fun to shoot every week as we have differant events called by the previous weeks winner. Normally we just shoot a picture of our results, but I decided to use a video this time just to see how it would turn out. I will say, that I didn't do that bad using a Bear Super Kodiak 55# recurve @ 28" DL with my Easton 2117 arrows that I fletched and painted myself.
