  • After bird has flown up dog must not run to catch the bird

  • @sstansm7f

At the start of the video the two dogs were just young dogs first season , then later in the video the male dog was trained and fully steady to shot and fall of game

  • I know Pålamalmens. Check out my clip "pointer in need of more training" with my dog PESTO, he is not "Pålamalmens but his grandfather is URLO DEL VENTO! Probably found in your dogs? My Pesto looks a lot like the first dog in your clip!!

  • watching this video was very interesting VINCE

just what i was looking for

    cant wait for them PUPS

  • I love it Vince !!!! It gives me such a buzz watching this kind of stuff !!! Man I can't wait to get my pup of you !!!!

  • Nice, Nice ,Nice. Nothing better! Thanks for the pics.

  • Your dogs are beautiful! My pointers have the tails that stand straight up and the breeding focuses on that trait. There is obviously a difference depending on what part of the world you are in and what your preferences are.

  • The tail must be carried in the continuation of the kidney, never above and in the rectilinear gallop, it can oscillate slightly from top to bottom.

The perception of the scent has to lead to a reaction the suddenness of which expresses the violence.

The English Pointer remains so rooted to the spot with an expression of absolute certainty. If the game tries to run away, he points it out by standing up even more, going back up the chamfer not to lose the emanation.

  • some say that if the tail points up it means its a happyer dog^^ but thats prob just a mith

and most hunting dogs get there tails cut partly off to avoid later injury

    hope it helps

  • It doesn't really matter when hunting, but in competitions, a straight down tail get more points. But at long as it stay frozen on a hunt, it really doesn't matter

  • pointing dog, should the tail sticking up or straight down back? anyonce can tell me what is the best pointer?
