@NeoSquadillah Yes, reverse logic. Youre saying a bad thing is creating a good thing. I'm saying a remake by itself is not a bad thing. Its when its a big fad in the business that it starts to get ridiculous. Its no guarantee that young people will start being aware of the old classics. I watched the Last House on The Left remake with this guy and I told him the original's better. He didn't know there was an original.

@TheAmericanOriginal reverse logic? lack of originality? look, most people these days won't watch older movies so this is an attempt to bring classics to a newer generation even if it fails. plus, it gives people the incentive to seek out the classic out of curiosity.

What are you trying to say? that everyone flocks to the remakes and assumes they are superior because they are new? the exact opposite occurs, everyone clings to the past terrified to try something new for fear of it defacing the classic. classics will always be classics. terrible remakes are only remembered because fans won't stop bitching them, thus keeping them in our memory
