@creakyprop I do know who Cliff Morgan is - and you are right! I'd quite forgotten how slightly odd his accent was and Chapman catches that well.
-
@ludocrat Cliff morgan was a regular BBC rugby commentator in the 70s, and former Welsh international- actually a pretty good impersonation.
-
I love the names of the rugby teams
-
@jimmyzo3o Well, in the '70 (Monty Pythons time, nay?) Wales made chopsticks of all international teams..
-
@georgeammorris He's not supposed to be a Kiwi... he's meant to be Welsh (and has a Welsh accent to go with, Chapman does a great impersonation), as the Welsh are the big Rugby nuts in the UK.
-
I heard the Captain Hook Impersonators fared better in their matches...except for that time against a team called the Mindoro Salt-Water Crocodiles, in which they were thoroughly trounced.
-
I suspected one of those Long John Silver impersonators were gonna get hit.

SAVE!
if you have enjoyed the show half as much as we doing it, then we have enjoyed it twice as much as you :)

@dakota1987 I am American and actually prefer the subtle Python above the in-your-face, laced-with-obscenities American counterpart of today. The issue with a lot of people disliking Python seems to be that their comedy forces you to think, rather than just handing out cheap insults and pandering to the lowest common denominator. Streuth!
