I just looked up the barking results:
Margaret Hodge Labour 24,628 54.3 +4.7
Simon Marcus Conservative 8,073 17.8 +1.2
Nick Griffin British National Party 6,620 14.6 -1.7
Dominic Carman Liberal Democrat 3,719 8.2 -2.6
Mr Griffin was 1513 votes below the tory and had twice the votes of the Libdem. Scarcely being told to pack his bags and go methinks?

@Xantion But madam hodge was just as bad telling griffin that he was to pack his bags and go. He came from nowhere into third place. That means a mainstream party came fourth. The BNP is in the ascendancy whether we like it or not. Another five years and who knows?
